Bioluminescent Bay Tour Quik Details

  • Tour Location: Kayak Village, Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
  • Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours - 2 hours (Includes: Pre-tour safety briefing). Check-in: 30 minutes prior to starting time of tour.
  • Minimum Age: 6 years +
  • Difficulty Level: Moderate, suitable for beginners and experienced kayakers.
  • Tours Available: Monday – Saturday.

Bioluminescent Bay Kayaking Tour Includes:

  • Two persons sit-on-top Kayak and paddles.
  • Personal floating device (life vest) approved by US Coast Guard.
  • Frontal and back low intensity night lights on kayaks.
  • Mosquito repellent.
  • Kayaking basic training and safety instructions.
  • Experienced bilingual (English/Spanish) tour guides.
  • Snacks: granola bars, potatoes chips, and cold bottled water (After the tour).
  • Free parking

The maximum weight limit is 240 lbs. (109 kg.)  per person (no exceptions).

For safety, weight checks will be conducted before each tour. Participants exceeding the individual weight limit will not be allowed to participate, and no refunds will be issued. Please inform each person from your party.

Pregnant women and guests with a recent surgery. Guests with neck, back, arms or leg problems or wearing a cast. Guests with heart conditions, epilepsy, and/or dizziness.the same kayak.

6 years old. Participants age 6-13 must be accompanied by an adult on the same kayak. Participants ages 14-17 must have an adult participating in the tour.

Guests who show signs of intoxication by drugs or alcohol will not be admitted on this tour.

Eco Action Tours will not provide a refund to any customer who failed to adhere to the tour restriction above disclosed.

Bio Bay Tour Itinerary

Pre-Tour Safety Briefing:

  • After check-in is completed, Eco Action Tour guides will call the group of kayakers and will distribute and secure each guest’s provided life jacket.
  • Tour guides will provide a safety briefing, including instructions on kayak operation, low intensity lights system, and group paddling techniques.

WHAT TO BRING TO THE BIO BAY TOUR

  • Quick-Drying Clothes or Bathing Suit: Wear lightweight, quick-drying clothing suitable for water activities.
  • Water Shoes or Secured Sandals: Wear comfortable, water-resistant footwear with a good grip. For your safety and comfort, going barefoot on this tour is strictly prohibited.
  • Towel and Change of Clothes: For drying off and changing after the tour.
  • Waterproof Camera or Smartphone: Please remember to keep your electronic devices secured in a waterproof pouch that has a lanyard to attach your electronics items to your life vest. Tour guides will not rescue any lost item regardless of the item’s value.
  • Drink Water and Eat a Snack Prior to the Tour: Ensure you are well-hydrated and have enough energy for the paddling adventure.
